Only Plan B® One-Step can provide you with emergency contraception in just one pill. All other products are 2 pills that must be taken 12 hours apart. And the sooner you take Plan B® One-Step, the more effective it is.

If you’re 17 or older, you can get Plan B® One-Step at your pharmacy counter without a prescription, as long as you show your pharmacist a government issued photo identification that proves your age. Valid IDs include your Driver’s License, State Identification Card or Passport. If you’re under 17, you’ll need to see your healthcare professional or visit your clinic.

If you feel uncomfortable asking for Plan B® One-Step, you can download and print a Plan B® One-Step Request Card to hand to your pharmacist.
